What helped me the most? The combination of learning a good base of Spanish grammar and vocabulary in school and then living in Spanish-speaking countries. Quickly, my love for travel (and surfing) took over and I did what I could to live and work abroad. One of my favorite jobs was leading trips with high school students as a tour guide in Costa Rica and Spain.

It has been a journey to get here. But as a Spanish language teacher with a California Teaching Credential in Spanish, I believe I bring a unique set of skills and experience to help my students work towards their next great adventure.
